BioMAT in the News
The Sacramento Bee and multiple other newspapers across the state have printed BAC’s op-ed in support of the BioMAT program. The op-ed urges Governor Newsom to direct the CPUC to follow the law and the science by extending the BioMAT program. More than two dozen BioMAT projects are currently in development and those projects will provide hundreds of good jobs, economic development, and energy reliability. These BioMAT projects will also help to reduce climate and air pollution from open burning and from landfilling.
